And as the pages of the book fluttered in the winter wind, the alphabets escaped the pages and seemed to dance in the air. The letters are always liberated whenever someone opens a book to read, and the words and sentences create a world that encapsulates the reader, taking him away from the world to a more real one. Kashiv believed that more than anything else, the letters should always be set free; he was setting the letters of the book, The Red Haired Woman by Orhan Pamuk, free. If you buy or burrow a book read it, don’t let it be, because then you have a responsibility, set it free. The fluttering of the pages made Kashiv think of Just_Me, who had opened the pages of his book. Just_Me is an amazing blogger who writes about herself and the things happening around her in her blog – www.happymesshappiness.wordpress.com.
Kashiv was overwhelmed with happiness and gratitude on being nominated for The Liebster Award by Just_Me. He had memorized the rules of the award:
- Acknowledge the blogger who nominated your blog.
- Answer the 11 questions.
- Nominate 11 other new bloggers to encourage them.
- Ask them 11 questions.
- Let them know you have nominated them.
He knew he couldn’t thank her enough for the nomination and the only thing he could do to thank her would be to answer her questions honestly. He asked the world to not miss her writings and rather visit her at – www.happymesshappiness.wordpress.com. To do what he had set out to do, Kashiv started writing and answering the questions:
1.Do you like to read? If so, what’s your favorite book?
- Yes, I do. It is hard to choose a favorite book. However, my Favorites are Crime and Punishment, One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Picture of Dorian Gray and The Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge.
2.Do you like movies? What’s your favorite?
- I am not too much into movies, but recently I have been introduced to the world of cinema by a dear friend and I am living every bit of it. My favorite is The Pianist.
3.What is your all time favorite song?
- It has to be Norwegian wood (The Beatles).
4.What are you more good at, singing or dancing?
- Dancing, because with Dance you are on your own.
5.What did you want to be when you were younger?
- It started with wanting to be a thief when I was a kid and then as I grew up I had different ambitions. I wanted to be an Accountant and then a software engineer and then a Statistician. By the time I finished my high school I knew I wanted to be a web programmer. But I never thought I would be what I am now. Even now, I am not certain what I want to be.
6.Where do you see yourself in five years?
- Here where I am, happier and content.
7.How would your friends describe you?
- How I wish I could look into their brains! Well, I think they would say I am a good man who has no time for his friends (secret: I’ve eavesdropped on their chit-chat).
8.What makes you angry?
- Masks, layers of masks. Everyone wears a mask, okay, but it’s the layers and layers of masks that make me lose it.
9.If you can pick any talent what would it be?
- Playing the Guitar like a pro.
10.If you can pick one person in history to have a dinner with, who and why?
- Rumi, Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi. Why, because I want to stare into those eyes, moist and dreamy, which saw the world and words the way they saw it.
11.What one question do you want to ask me?
- If you could time travel, where would you go, the past or the future? Well, it has a condition; you cannot come back to the present.
***
Kashiv then moved on to recognize the books he would open, the blogs he would nominate.
***
Lastly, Kashiv wrote down the eleven questions he had formed in his mind for the nominees.
- Why do you blog?
- Why do you want to travel to that one place you want to go?
- One writer, who is no longer alive, you love/like? Recommend a book, written after the writer’s death, to him/her.
- What is happiness to you?
- What is sin for you?
- You are granted a wish; what would it be and why?
- If you could time travel, where would you go, the past or the future? Well, it has a condition; you cannot come back to the present.
- What do you fear, death or re-birth?
- If you could be someone else for a week, who would you be? Why?
- The angels have come down to take away with them one of your virtues, which one virtue would you give? They will give a vice in return, choose it.
- You’re given the power to change the world with your one question; which one question do you think can change the world?
***
Having finished writing, Kashiv drank a glass full of cold water and went out in the open. He was lost in thought. He was thinking about the pure soul who also nominated him for The Liebster Award along with Just_Me, HOPE IN A BLOG. The writer of this blog is on a godly mission to enrich lives by bringing them closer to truth and themselves. Kashiv, knew words would do no justice to thank the writer. Kashiv would remain indebted forever.
Thanks a lot:

hello! Hope you are well. Sorry for bombarding you… I sensed I was meant to resend them, then sent the wrong ones…apologies! As long as you found them. I am ok thank you. It’s been an odd week, but I always get the guidance I need to proceed, and I learn so much when I ask deeper questions. I have a new post up about it. All good, as it helps others. How are you? Thanks, you’re just … I don’t have words. I am going to read the post. Even I have been a bit worked up so. Well, now all is well and even a new post is coming up. So, the ball is in motion again. Yeah, it is always a great feeling to highlight other blogs, and they are wonderful.
It’s so beautiful, there are like a million writers here and each one has their own style, sacred. And they are all immensely talented. Everyone here is on a mission, directly or indirectly, to help others and in the process getting themselves healed.
And yes, don’t apologize. Take care.

awwwe…thank you so much…I was a little concerned as I do not like to bombard people with messages…I respect other’s needs to be in their own space. You are very gracious. Thank you. Regarding the other writers…you each carry unique gifts and qualities. I feel/read the beauty in the energy that truly does pour out of all your hearts when you write. These gifts, these frequencies of sincerity, of heart-felt beauty emit out of your writing and so, others not only benefit from the poetry or stories… it is the raw, authentic, untouched beauty of your souls that is reaching out and reminding others of their goodness, their innate qualities and gifts. Writing unifies others. You all have immense gifts. So, I thank you, because it uplifts my soul. I am back on track … another post ‘All That Glitters Is Not Gold ‘for you to read if you wish. Always a great pleasure to connect with you. I always feel I can be ‘me’. That is one of the many gifts that you bring to the world. Once again, I thank you.
